APC woman leader Atoyebi in Oyo North has passed away
Princess Adebowale Adenike Atoyebi, the female APC senatorial district leader for Oyo North, has passed away.
Thursday’s death of Atoyebi was confirmed by OBAASANJO NEWS24 on Friday.
She passed away on Thursday morning.
Few years had passed since the passing of her father, the late Oba Lawal Oyetola Adebowale, Alamodu of Ago-Amodu.
Sharafadeen Alli, a senator running for the APC in Oyo South, reacted by calling her passing a big loss.
The deceased, according to Alli, was a committed and selfless leader who made unceasing efforts to further the development of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
The legislator stated that the party will miss the deceased in a statement that was published under his special adviser on media, Akeem Abas.
He stated, “We received the news of Princess Adebowale Adenike Atoyebi’s passing, the APC Women’s Leader in the Oyo North Senatorial District, with heavy hearts.
“Our party and Nigerian politics have lost a great asset with her passing.”
