Chief Tony Okocha, the chairman of the APC’s Caretaker Committee in Rivers State, has refuted rumours circulating on social media, implying that he reversed course and congratulated Governor Siminalayi Fubara on completing a year in office.

Okocha told reporters in Port Harcourt on Tuesday that he couldn’t possibly celebrate a government that he called a “ICU.”

According to the APC chairman, the article aimed to discredit him and portray him as “someone who talks from both sides of his mouth.”

The governor received a zero from the APC chairman, who assessed the Fubara administration’s performance during the previous year and called it a fraud that operated without a budget.
