The Expression of Interest Form must be paid for by candidates with disabilities and female candidates; however, the Nomination Form is provided free of charge.
Young people aged 25 to 40 are eligible to purchase the Expression of Interest and Nomination forms at a 50% discounted price.
According to Obasanjo News24, Edo will have the off-cycle governorship election on November 16. The same day would also see the election in Ondo State.
The first APC candidate from Edo to pick up the forms at the party’s national secretariat was Clem Agba, a former minister of state for budget and national planning.
On behalf of Agba, the forms were picked up by Henry Idahagbon, a former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Edo.
The APC published a timetable of events for the Edo governorship election, and it states that the selling of forms would conclude on January 29.
On February 17, the APC will hold a primary election to choose its candidate for governor.
