APC chairmen have expressed admiration for Ganduje and Okocha, while hailing the achievements of Wike in driving development across key sectors.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) State Chairmen Forum has conveyed gratitude towards the leadership of Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, who is the National Chairman of their party. The forum particularly appreciates his decision to give an extension to Tony Okocha’s caretaker committee in Rivers State APC.
The APC chairmen made a resolution to dispatch an official letter of praise to Ganduje, commending him for his choice in supporting the Rivers APC Executive Committee’s decision. This led to the suspension of Emeka Beke and the former leadership team which was applauded by them.
The strengthening of Beke’s suspension was further upheld by a court decision from the Rivers State High Court.
Cornelius Ojelabi, the chairman of the Forum, and Alphonsus Eba, its secretary, expressed their backing for the modifications in Rivers APC leadership during a press conference held on Thursday at the party’s national secretariat located in Abuja.
Tony Okocha’s team was recognized for their remarkable achievements in breathing new life into the Rivers State division of the party within a span of seven months.

According to the Forum, Chief Tony Okocha’s leadership has revitalized the Rivers APC and turned it into one of the most vibrant and durable state chapters. The party had been bedeviled by lethargy and fragmentation before his dynamic leadership injected new energy ahead of the 2023 elections.
Furthermore, the Forum seized the chance to praise Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), for his outstanding performance.
He was commended for his notable contributions in infrastructure, security, and the development of human capital. The impact of his accomplishments had a significant and visible effect.
The statement expressed gratitude towards Minister Wike for his commendable contributions as a member of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration. It acknowledged that his devotion to the country’s advancement was evident through his diligent efforts.
Furthermore, the Forum emphasized the significance of several key players within the Rivers APC in ensuring triumph for their party in the upcoming 2023 presidential election. Significantly, only one state from South-South was able to achieve victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu – this feat can be accredited to unified efforts and advocacy towards equity and distribution of authority across various regions.
The Forum pledged to persist in cultivating discussions that enhance democratic principles, advance party unity and address any unresolved matters in its diverse chapters.
