Apapa LP group claims that Peter Obi stole $15 million and N12 billion from our party’s campaign finance
The Labour Party’s Lamidi Apapa faction has accused Peter Obi, the party’s presidential candidate, of stealing $15 million and N12 billion intended for his campaign.
The faction claimed that Obi used the funds to support the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the party’s embattled chairman Julius Abure.
Abayomi Arabambi, the faction spokesman for Apapa, revealed this in a statement.
Part of the statement reads: “Our previous position has now been confirmed that Peter Obi was simply out to defraud our party of donations made towards the 2023 general election, which were in the frightening sum of $15 million and N12 billion that Peter Obi intentionally used to cure Abure’s poverty lineage and help other Julius Abure IPOB irresponsible ethnic irredeemable irredentist supporters to have a lifeline.
All of the money owed to our agents around the nation was fraudulently converted by Peter Obi, and they all declined to represent the party in all pooling units.
