Anthony Joshua will face the victor of Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk, according to boxing promoter Eddie Hearn, if Joshua wins against Daniel Dubois in September.
In March, Joshua successfully defeated Francis Ngannou, a former UFC champion, in the second round of their most recent fight.
Joshua’s return to the world heavyweight title is their top objective, according to Hearn, who made this observation in an interview with the UK Sun.
“If he wins in September, I expect the December fight winner to face Anthony Joshua,” he stated.

“There are three or four opponents in the running, and no decision has been made yet. However, it is the official plan.
“Obviously, the objective has always been to regain the world heavyweight title, and that is the top focus.
Thus, I believe it will take two fights for us to be unquestioned. However, we must defeat them.
In a historic bout last month, Usyk prevailed via split decision over Fury.
With his victory, the Ukrainian boxer became the first heavyweight champion to unify the division since Lennox Lewis in 1999. He did this by unseating Fury and adding the WBC title to his already existing WBA (Super), WBO, IBF, and IBO crowns.
