Anthony Joshua Faces Ban After Defeat to Daniel Dubois

Anthony Joshua has been suspended from boxing for 28 days after suffering a knockout loss to fellow Briton Daniel Dubois.

The loss came in the fifth round of a highly anticipated fight at Wembley Stadium, where Dubois knocked Joshua down four times in front of 96,000 fans.

The win allowed the 27-year-old Dubois to retain his IBF heavyweight title. According to boxing regulations, Joshua is now banned from entering the ring for 28 days as a safety measure by the British Boxing Board of Control.

The suspension is part of standard procedure by the Boxing Commission and Martial Arts Association, which requires a medical suspension for athletes who receive a knockout, or technical knockout (TKO), to ensure recovery before returning to the sport.
