In a shocking incident, a Rwandan soldier kills five people in a bar shooting, prompting immediate investigations by local authorities.
According to the army, a Rwandan soldier opened fire in a bar on Wednesday and killed five civilians in a town located in the southwestern region of the country.
The reason behind the early morning shooting was not immediately clear.
The gunman was identified by the Rwandan Defence Forces as a 39-year-old sergeant.
“The East African country’s military stated that the RDF has apprehended the suspect and will pursue necessary legal action against him.”
