Ibikunle Amosun, a former governor of Ogun State, was in charge of the governorship campaign rally on Wednesday ahead of the 2023 elections.
Amosun, a senator elected on the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform, ran for the party’s presidential nomination as well.

To the dismay of those in attendance, Amosun stormed the location at 1:49 p.m. as the ADC candidate in Ogun, Biyi Otegbeye, launched his campaign at the Ake Palace Square.
Amosun had previously declared that while he would support Otegbeye for governor, he would back Bola Tinubu for the APC’s presidential nomination.
The former governor is the centre of attention at the ADC rally today, despite the fact that he was not present when Tinubu visited Abeokuta last Wednesday.
