Presidential amnesty graduates praise Otuaro for his innovative leadership and efforts in transforming the programme.
Dr. Dennis Otuaro, the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), has been praised for his innovative leadership by The National Association of Presidential Amnesty Graduates (NAPAG).
Somina Igani, the National Coordinator of NAPAG, commended Otuaro’s proactive management style in a press release on Tuesday.
Igani reports that Otuaro’s leadership of the PAP has resulted in notable advancements, particularly in tackling human capital development issues within the Niger Delta.
Under Otuaro’s leadership, Igani accentuated the considerable headway achieved such as broadened academic prospects through scholarship grants, prompt distribution of monthly allowances to PAP beneficiaries and reinvigorated utilization programs that provide excellent apprenticeships in diverse trades.

According to Igani, Dr. Otuaro’s leadership has resulted in a significant surge of backing for educational endeavors which enabled several former dissenters to pursue advanced education and career-oriented learning opportunities. The priority placed on academics not only empowered individuals but also made substantial contributions towards the socio-economic progress of Niger Delta and beyond.
Under Otuaro’s leadership, the consistent and timely payment of allowances has played a pivotal role in preserving the livelihoods of several former agitators. As a result, it has also contributed to upholding peace, security, and stability within the region – he added.
Igani praised Otuaro’s dedication to the educational progress of NAPAG members and conveyed the association’s contentment with his leadership. He stressed that under his administration, educational avenues have expanded substantially, enabling ex-agitators to make more substantial contributions towards national growth.
Moreover, D Otuaro was lauded by the group for astutely selecting competent aides that amplified the program’s efficacy. Ultimately, NAPAG expressed its trust and support in Otuaro and encouraged him to persist with his constructive and ingenious contributions to uplift the populace and societies of Niger Delta.
