Cheryldene Cook, an American victim, has received property from Aisosa Ohue, alias Frederick Leonard, a convicted fraudster, from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Wilson Uwujaren, its spokesperson, stated this in a statement on Friday in Abuja.

The three-bedroom semi-detached duplex at Ward 36A Amagba Community in Oredo Local Government Area of Edo, he claims, is included in the property, which is valued at N19 million.

The Zonal Commander, ACE I Adebayo Adeniyi, and the Head of Advanced Fee Fraud Section 1, ACE II Jimoh Rauf, he claimed, handed the victim with the property, which also included a Lexus E350 saloon car, an iPhone 13 Pro Max, and a Samsung A31 phone in Abuja.

According to Uwujaren, Cheryldene Cook was escorted to the commission by her attorney, Dr. Mike Nwosu, who had flown in from the United States to accept the things. He continued by saying that she thanked the commission for the healing.

He said that Justice C.E. Nwecheonwu of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Kuje, had ordered the confiscation of the property in January following Orhue’s conviction on a three-count indictment, which included collecting money via false pretences.

“The convicted, posing as renowned actor Frederick Leonard, defrauded the victim in a love scam.”
