Maverick musician Charles Oputa, often known as Charly Boy, has generated controversy following a recent admission regarding the history of mental illness in his family.
The self-styled “Area Fada” said that his late father frequently told him that “Oputas are very special people.”
The sanity of his family “might be debatable,” according to Charly Boy, but their love is unshakeable.
On Tuesday, he revealed it on Twitter by posting a picture of himself and his cousin Uriel Oputa.
He wrote, “My darling cuz,
“My father never allowed me to forget that the Oputas are truly unique people.
“Yes, our sanity may be in question, but our tie is indestructible.
