Alibaba, a renowned comedian in Nigeria, has expressed his thoughts on the recent arrest of Bobrisky by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
According to a report by Obasanjonews.com, Bobrisky, who identifies as a transgender and crossdresser, was apprehended in Lagos for allegedly mishandling naira notes.
It is said that he was arrested for spraying and damaging currency notes at an event.
In response to this, Alibaba took to his Instagram page and shared a picture depicting men spraying and stepping on currency notes at a party.
In a sarcastic tone, he questioned whether the EFCC’s lack of action against these men was due to their gender.
He further questioned the fairness of Bobrisky’s arrest, suggesting that it was unjust. Alibaba’s apparent sarcasm implied that the EFCC disproportionately targets women, highlighting the unjust treatment of women in Nigeria.
