In the statement, Kulas claimed that the governor is in constant touch with the federal government to expedite the construction of the Makurdi-Ugbema road and the restoration of some failing sections of the Katsina-Ala-Vandeikya-Ogoja route.

He stated: “Apart from the ongoing construction of roads/streets within Makurdi metropolis, some other metropolises in the state including, Gboko, Otukpo, and Katsina-Ala will soon receive similar attention adding that opening of rural roads is also prominently featured in the plans.”

Kula continued by saying that Alia demanded increased backing for both his administration and the federal government led by President Bola Tinubu.
