The late Alhaji Ibrahim Milgoma, who served as the chairman of the Sokoto State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has departed from this world.
After a prolonged illness, Milgoma passed away in an Abuja hospital. He had been the leader of PDP (People’s Democratic Party) in Sokoto State between 2015 and 2018.
Malam Hassan Sahabi Sanyinnawal, the Sokoto State PDP Publicity Secretary relayed a sorrowful message in a press statement.
The expressed sentiment conveyed deep grief regarding Milgoma’s passing, depicting him as an esteemed and revered figure who played a crucial role in advancing both Sokoto State and Nigeria on the whole.

According to the statement, “The Sokoto State branch of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) expresses profound sorrow over the passing of its ex-chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Milgoma. He passed away in Abuja after a prolonged sickness.”
Milgoma was renowned for his unwavering devotion and steadfastness while serving as the PDP chairman. He played an instrumental role in ensuring the party triumphed over its opponents in Sokoto State during the 2019 general elections.
He was widely acknowledged for his leadership and influence, earning him the status of a father figure in the political landscape of the state.
The PDP of Sokoto State expressed their deepest prayers, imploring the merciful Allah to pardon Milgoma’s mistakes and bestow upon him a divine reward in Aljannat Firdaus for his virtuous acts.
Additionally, the gathering entreated for inner fortitude and solace to envelop his kinfolk as well as the Sokoto State community during their process of grappling with this significant bereavement.
