Alexx Ekubo, a well-known actor and model from Nigeria, has admitted he is no longer drawn to relationships that end in marriage.
The actor, who appears to be struggling with the fallout from his painful split with his ex-fiance Fancy Acholonu, made this statement in a post on his Instagram page in response to a woman who made light of her intentions to wed him.
It began when Alex posted his picture on his Instagram story.
An Instagram user responded to the photo by saying she needs money to “marry him properly.”
I’m organising our wedding, darling,” she wrote. Let all of this financial hardship end first, @alexxekubo, so I can properly wed you.
“I have removed my hands from everything that would lead to marriage,” Alex responded in response.
