According to Senegalese-American musician Akon, Nigerians are possibly the “smartest people” on earth.
The ‘Oh Africa’ singer made the claim while participating in the Drink Champs podcast, which N.O.R.E and DJ EFN co-host.
Akon acknowledged that there are a few “bad apples” ruining the country’s reputation, but asserted that Nigeria produces more millionaires than any other country in the world.
It’s possible to argue that Nigerians are the world’s smartest people, he remarked. Nobody is wiser than a Nigerian, I can assure you. Of course, there were a few rotten apples in the bunch. The bad apples are quite intelligent. However, they misapplied their intelligence throughout.
“If they directed that towards something more uplifting or beneficial… Because of those who succeeded, Nigeria produces more billionaires than any other country in the world.
