In a post on his X handle, Osuntokun also called for an investigation into the actions of the Nigerian military to identify the factors that have hindered its effectiveness, following the unprovoked massacre of over 160 individuals in communities within Plateau State.
The investigation will play a crucial role in revealing the entities that are profiting from the continuous acts of terrorism in the nation.
Nonetheless, Osuntokun emphasized that the country’s military has the necessary capabilities to combat the terrorist threat.
However, there are certain factors that have hindered their effectiveness, and it is imperative to identify these obstacles and those responsible for them.
Rather than engaging in politically motivated tribal disputes, it is vital to shift our attention towards a more urgent matter – the corrupt politicians who are actively contributing to the deterioration of our country.
By asking these pertinent questions, we can uncover the beneficiaries of ongoing terrorism and understand that as citizens, we are all potential victims.
Therefore, uniting against corruption should be our collective priority.
