Aisha Yesufu makes fun of Yahaya Bello and ElRufai
Aisha Yesufu, a well-known social critic, has taken a dig at former governors Nasir El-Rufai and Yahaya Bello, who are currently facing their own set of troubles.
In a post on her social media handle, Yesufu expressed her amusement at how Nigerian politicians often believe that their time in power will last forever.
She sarcastically remarked that she finds it amusing, specifically mentioning El-Rufai and Bello in her laughter.
The context behind her statement stems from the recent attempted arrest of Yahaya Bello by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The EFCC has declared Bello wanted for his alleged involvement in economic and financial crimes, particularly money laundering amounting to a staggering N80.2 billion.
In fact, the EFCC even mentioned the possibility of involving the Nigerian Army to apprehend Bello if necessary.
Yesufu’s comment serves as a critique of the mindset of Nigerian politicians who often underestimate the consequences of their actions and believe they are immune to accountability.
