Activist Aisha Yesufu has publicly stated that she is not a member of the Labour Party, addressing speculation about her political affiliations and maintaining her stance as an independent advocate.

Activist and politician Aisha Yesufu stated on Saturday that she is not a registered member of the Labour Party or any other political party.

Yesufu, who is part of the 2023 LP presidential campaign council, announced this on Seun Okinbaloye’s podcast, “Mic On.”

She also stated that she has never sought an appointment, as she values her financial independence.

Yesufu stated, “I focused on achieving financial independence before voicing my opinions on Nigerian matters.”

I am not affiliated with the Labour Party and have never been a registered member of any political party.

I challenge anyone, living or deceased, to claim that I, Aisha Yesufu, have ever visited them seeking a job, contract, or anything similar. I’m an entrepreneur! I engage in buying and selling goods and properties; building and selling houses is my business.
