Due to bad destination weather, yesterday’s United Nigeria Airlines aircraft, NUA 0504, which was departing from the MM2 in Lagos and headed for Abuja, was briefly diverted to the Asaba International Airport.
The airline’s Head of Corporate Communications, Achilleus-Chud Uchegbu, signed a statement that said, “The pilot of the aircraft was properly briefed and aware of the temporary diversion at all material times.”

Nevertheless, when the aircraft safely touched down in Asaba, the cabin crew misanounced something, confusing the other passengers.
Meanwhile, the aircraft made a safe landing in Abuja as the destination weather improved. At all times, United Nigeria Airlines is dedicated to keeping its passengers secure.
