However, in order to help it undertake a thorough investigation, the NSIB is requesting information from the general public in the form of images, videos, or recordings.

The preliminary findings will be made public soon, according to the Bureau.

The NSIB requested that the public and the media respect the privacy of those concerned and refrain from speculating about the serious incident’s origin before the official report was made public.

The NSIB is a multimodal investigating organisation tasked with looking into significant occurrences and transport accidents in Nigeria in order to determine their likely causes and providing safety advice that would help prevent recurrence.
