Sergio Aguero, a renowned figure at Manchester City has disclosed his choice for the recipient of Ballon d’Or 2024.

Rodri has been selected by Sergio instead of Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham.

This week, ahead of the upcoming award ceremony next month, a list comprising 30 men was unveiled.

Former City team-mate Rodri has now received public support from Aguero to win the highly desired accolade.

After the City team tweeted about Rodri being nominated for the Ballon d’Or award, Aguero took to Twitter and wrote: “You truly deserve this recognition. What a perfect year! Let’s go, Rodri!”

In May, Rodri was a member of the City team that triumphantly secured their fourth consecutive Premier League title.

His guidance played a crucial role in leading Spain to triumph at Euro 2024.
