In the absence of the injured Victor Osimhen, Victor Boniface, Ademola Lookman, and Moses Simon will lead the Super Eagles’ attack against Libya in their Africa Cup of Nations 2024 qualifier.
Lookman and Boniface were in the starting lineup for the Eagles’ previous two matches against Benin Republic in Uyo and Rwanda in Kigali. Meanwhile, Simon, who began both games on the bench, replaces Samuel Chukwueze.
Stanley Nwabali continues as the goalkeeper, while Ola Aina, William Troost-Ekong, Bruno Onyemaechi, and Calvin Bassey remain in their defensive roles.
Coach Austin Eguavoen has selected Wilfred Ndidi, Frank Onyeka, and Alex Iwobi to dominate the midfield for the three-time African champions.
