AFCON: NFF reveals 40-player provisional squad (FULL LIST)

The Super Eagles’ provisional roster for the forthcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON) has been made public by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

A document that was uploaded to the CAF website on Wednesday contains the list. The NFF filed a 40-man roster to the continental football regulating body by the deadline of December 14.

On the list are William Troost-Ekong and Ahmed Musa, who were not present in the Super Eagles’ most recent games.

The roster is completed by six goalkeepers, thirteen defenders, eight midfielders, and thirteen forwards.

Ademola Lookman, Victor Boniface, and the smoldering-hot Samuel Chukwueze were named with the recently won African Footballer of the Year, Victor Osimhen.
