The Super Eagles delivered a brilliant performance, flying past the Cheetahs in Uyo for their AFCON 2025 qualifier, sealing a dominant victory.
In Uyo on Saturday, the Nigerian Super Eagles commenced their pursuit of qualification for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations with a relaxed triumph over Benin Republic by three goals to nil.
The Super Eagles dominated the game in its early stage as the visitors chose to sit back.
In the 17th minute, Nigeria lost an opportunity to take the lead due to Ademola Lookman’s miss.

Twelve minutes before the final whistle, Victor Osimhen scored Nigeria’s second goal.
After being assisted by Wilfred Ndidi, the ball was successfully placed into the goal by a strong striker.
In the 82nd minute, Lookman netted his second goal of the match.
On Tuesday, the Super Eagles are set to face Rwanda at Amahoro Stadium located in Kigali for their upcoming game.
