Gernot Rohr has announced his squad for Benin Republic’s upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Nigeria and Libya.
Rohr announced a roster of 24 players for the matches against the Super Eagles and Mediterranean Knights.
Captain Steve Mounie, goalkeeper Saturnin Allagbe, and dependable forward Jodel Dossou are among the mainstays of the squad.
The squad also features leading stars such as Junior Olaitan, Olivier Verdon, and Aiyegun Tosin.
The Cheetahs will start getting ready for both games in Abidjan on Monday.
Rohr’s team is set to play against their neighbors, Nigeria, at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan on Thursday, November 14.
Four days later, the West Africans will conclude their qualifying campaign with an away match against Libya’s Mediterranean Knights.
They hold second place in Group D, having earned six points across four games.
