Victor Boniface reveals that Libya has sent an Isakaba bus to pick up the Super Eagles for AFCON 2025, highlighting the team’s preparation efforts.
Nigerian striker Victor Boniface has criticized the quality of the bus provided by Libyan authorities to transport the Super Eagles from Al Abaq Airport.
Boniface mentioned that the Libyan authorities dispatched what he termed an “Isakaba bus” to transport the Super Eagles from the airport.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been stuck at the airport for more than 13 hours following their arrival in Libya.
Libyan authorities redirected the chartered ValueJet aircraft, which was transporting the Super Eagles, to a smaller airport instead of allowing it to land at Benghazi Airport. This decision occurred as the pilot was completing his approach on Sunday night.

The Libyan Football Federation did not arrange for a reception team or transportation to take the Nigerian team from the airport to their hotel, reportedly located three hours away in Benghazi.
However, in a post on X featuring the video of the bus, Boniface wrote: “Check out this Iskaba bus they brought in yesterday.”
“No one is allowed to enter.”
The Super Eagles are set to face Libya on Tuesday after securing a 1-0 victory in the first leg of the African Nations Cup (AFCON) qualifiers last Friday.
