AFCON 2023: Peseiro refrains from revealing the Super Eagles’ top goalkeeper choice

Regarding his first-choice custodian for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro is keeping details close to the vest.

Peseiro strengthened the department by including Stanley Nwabili, the custodian for Chippa United, in his AFCON team.

Olorunleke Ojo and Francis Uzoho are the two goalkeepers on the squad.

In the team’s friendlies against Guinea and Al Gharib, the three played.

Peseiro said to NFF TV, “Stanley played, I can’t say for anyone who the first 11 are, I will decide against Equatorial Guinea.”

On Sunday, the Super Eagles will play their first game against Equatorial Guinea.
