Stanley Nwabali, the custodian for the Super Eagles, has discussed the state of his injuries sustained during Nigeria’s 2-0 victory over Cameroon.

The Super Eagles overcame their bitter rivals with to two goals from Ademola Lookman, securing a quarterfinal matchup with Angola.
Victor Osimhen found the Atalanta forward inside the box, and he opened the score in the 36th minute.
Finally, Lookman poached home to give the three-time champions a 2-0 victory, sealing the victory.
Nevertheless, Nwabali was unable to complete the game as he was replaced by Francis Uzoho in the 80th minute due to discomfort from a contact with Georges-Kevin N’Koudou.
After the game, Stanley Nwabali told the reporters that while he was still experiencing pain, he would have to wait for the doctor’s findings.
“Maybe the doctor could tell, but I’m still experiencing pain,” the patient said. You can always tell when an injury is new because of the pain. He stated.
Super Eagles manager Jose Peseiro provided an update regarding Nwabili’s injury earlier.
According to Peseiro, the Super Eagles’ medical staff has not yet determined the full extent of Nwabili’s injury. Nevertheless, he anticipates that the Nigerian custodian from Chippa United will play in the quarterfinals.
Following their convincing victory against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, the Super Eagles of Nigeria will play Angola on Friday at the Felix Houphouet-Boigny Stadium with hopes of advancing to the Semi-finals.
