Sy will collaborate with Djibril Camara and Nouha Bangoura, two of his countrymen.
Camara and Bangoura serve as assistant referees 1 and 2, respectively, with Abdel Aziz Bouh, a Mauritanian official, serving as the fourth official.
The game will take place in Abidjan at the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny.
This matchup represents one of the infrequent times that Nigeria and Angola will face off.
The most noteworthy occurred when the Super Eagles were defeated 1–1 by the Palancas Negras in Kano, allowing the team to win the head-to-head match and go to the FIFA World Cup 2006.
