John Mikel Obi, a former captain of the Super Eagles, is one of the assistants for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations final draw.
Mikel will be joined by Didier Drogba, a former teammate from Chelsea, Sadio Mane, a striker from Senegal, and Achraf Hakimi, a defender from Morocco.
The event will be emceed by global music icon Akon.

With the Super Eagles, the former midfielder won three AFCON bronze medals.
The brand-new Parc des Expositions in Abidjan will host the draw ceremony.
The eagerly anticipated final draw, which officially begins the home stretch of what is expected to be the best AFCON ever, will be attended by delegations and coaches from each of the 24 participating countries, CAF legends, members of the international media, CAF commercial partners, showbiz stars, and African leaders.
