OBASANJONEWS24 has reported that Morocco and Guinea-Bissau have both arrived in Cote d’Ivoire for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The two countries reached the West African nation on Sunday. Morocco’s national team, known as the Atlas Lions, reached the quarter-finals in the previous tournament and are placed in Group F alongside DR Congo, who have won the championship twice, 2012 champions Zambia, and the Taifa Stars of Tanzania.
This will be Morocco’s 19th appearance in the history of the tournament. On the other hand, Guinea-Bissau is placed in Group A with hosts Cote d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, and Nigeria. The Djurtus, as Guinea-Bissau’s team is known, will face the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire in the opening game of the competition.
