Governor Mohammed Bago of Niger State has called on the Federal Government to take decisive action in bringing the perpetrators of the recent killings in Plateau State to justice. Speaking in Minna, the governor expressed his deep concern over the attacks that occurred on Christmas Eve, describing them as unjustifiable and unacceptable.
He lamented the fact that instead of spreading love and joy during the festive season, some individuals chose to inflict sorrow and pain on innocent people.
Governor Bago extended his sympathies to the people and government of Plateau State, particularly the affected families, and offered prayers for the swift recovery of the injured and the safe return of those displaced to their homes.
It is worth noting that the attacks resulted in the loss of over 100 lives, numerous injuries, and the displacement of thousands of people in Plateau State.
