Adunni Ade Shares How Ramsey Nouah Led Her to Move to Nigeria

Adunni Ade explains that Ramsey Nouah was a key reason behind her decision to relocate to Nigeria. Discover more about her move.

Adunni Ade, a Nollywood star, has conveyed her appreciation for Ramsey Nouah, one of her peers.

During her appearance on Hip TV’s Trending, which was hosted by reality star KimOprah, Ade admitted that she has long held a profound respect for the accomplished actor.

She revealed that her decision to give up her career as a model in America and move to Nigeria was influenced by him.

“He [Ramsey Nouah] was the one who encouraged me to relocate to Nigeria,” she revealed. She had met him prior to her move and shared with him her objectives and ambitions, upon which he delivered an inspiring motivational speech that convinced her it was worthwhile relocating.”

Can you envision not having the opportunity to collaborate with him since 2011, despite always holding him in high esteem? However, at a film festival later on, I stumbled upon him and proceeded to exchange customary pleasantries.

The following day, Chris – who was a close friend of the producer – called me and asked, “Adunni, what did you feed Ramsey? He just offered you a role.”

Working with him on set gave me goosebumps because he transforms into a completely different person when he’s working. I’ve had the privileged experience of being featured in another project with him, but cannot reveal it at this time. Seeing Ramsey Nouah as both a director and co-actor has only further cemented my admiration for his talent and overall character – truly phenomenal!

In 2011, Adunni Ade relocated to Nigeria.

In 2013, she got her first role in Nollywood acting in the Yoruba film “You or I”.

She has acted in more than 250 Nollywood films, using both the English and Yoruba languages.
