Adeleke’s ‘Ipade Imole’ Event: Critics Label it a PDP Family Gathering Disguised as Jamboree- NNPP
The NNPP criticized the ‘Ipade Imole interactive session’ with Governor Ademola Adeleke as a mere waste of state resources, labeling it a jamboree and a PDP family meeting, during an interaction with journalists in Osogbo.
The Osun NNPP chairman, Tosin Odeyemi, expressed disappointment in the interactive program, emphasizing that it lacked substance and failed to provide a platform for the governor to showcase his achievements and address important issues.
Odeyemi challenged the state government to disclose the expenses incurred during the session, highlighting the insensitivity of organizing such events during a period of economic hardship for Nigerians.

He criticized the selective nature of the questions asked during the session, suggesting that only pre-prepared individuals were allowed to participate, undermining the purpose of gathering genuine feedback from the citizens.
Odeyemi urged Governor Adeleke to opt for more transparent and inclusive platforms, such as live radio station programs, to engage with the people and address their concerns effectively, rather than squandering state resources on events with limited value.
