Many Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and African Democratic Party (ADC) followers have switched to the Action Alliance (AA).
The decampees are from the Adavi, Okehi, Ogori/Magongo, and Okene Local Government Areas in the Central Senatorial District.
The Decampees’ leaders took turns explaining why they were leaving, claiming that they were sick of their old party and wanted a leader who would put the needs of the people first.

According to Hon. Ibrahim Omonesi, a former council leader for the Adavi Local Government who left the PDP, the AA manifesto will put an end to poverty in the State.
Hon. Fidelis Sadiq, a former PDP member, said that following his experience and run-in with Braimoh, he has made the decision to camp out with AA in order to carry out his objectives for the State.
Otunba Braimoh is the most serious contender for governor in Kogi State’s election on November 11th, according to Hon. Momoh Jimoh Obeito, who left ADC. As a result, Otunba Braimoh is determined to join AA to rescue the State from poverty.
Deacon Fred Ambo, the acting chairman of AA, welcomed the decampees and urged them to work hard to support the party’s candidate in the election that will take place in one month.
The candidate for the AA governorship, Otunba Olayinka Braimoh, commended the defectors for their good choice and urged them to launch ward-to-ward campaigns to recruit more supporters for the party.
He asserts that he is certain to win the election thanks to the party’s recent additions and other significant endorsements.
Braimoh pledged to end reliance on federal funding while also pointing out that the State can thrive on its ample resources.
