Actor Jim Iyke from Nigeria has revealed the reasons behind the breakdown of his union with lawyer Dana Kinduryte, a Lithuanian-American.

Shortly after welcoming their son Harvis into the world in 2015, Iyke and Kinduryte tied the knot.

The actor disclosed last year that he and his wife are divorced and that they have three children.

Iyke acknowledged hiding his family’s business from the public.

Iyke talked candidly about Kinduryte’s breakup with him in a TikTok conversation with Toke Makinwa.

After losing his mother in 2014, the actor disclosed that he found it difficult to emotionally connect with his wife.

He said that he didn’t return Kinduryte’s affection because he was too preoccupied with being a dad.

He continued by saying that his difficulties were exacerbated by his refusal to get support for his sadness.

“I was attempting to control two parallels that I could not separate. I didn’t know how to handle the feelings this woman was giving me because I had just lost my mother,” he remarked.

She needed to love me, and I promised to love her back, but I failed to do so and was unable to do so. I gave our youngster my whole attention.

Therefore, it is all my fault, but I also had to cope with two parallels that I didn’t know how to combine because I was a kid of my circumstances.

“I did not give myself the luxury of grieving, but it cost me since I began to struggle after everyone else had survived.

“My spouse was pushing for me to visit a therapist. “Are you crazy?” I asked. Never have I been with one.

“She was attempting to receive love in return for the love she was giving in the union, but it was unsuccessful.”
