Actual cause for Tinubu’s Chicago certificate indicating she is a woman-President’s lawyer
President Bola Tinubu’s attorney, Wole Afolabi, claims that a mistake at Chicago State University is to blame for the “F” on Tinubu’s certificate, which is actually intended for a female.
Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate in the election of February 25, is contesting Tinibu’s victory and recently obtained a court order requiring Chicago State University to give him access to Tinubu’s academic records in a case he filed in the Northern Illinois District Court in the United States.
Nevertheless, Afolabi responded, “The transcript that was provided by Southwest College indicated F.,” when questioned as to why the President’s certificate has a “F”. This was evident. The information provided by President Bola Tinubu was accurate in all other respects. To find out the cause of the disparities, the registrar was now questioned. The admission letter was given to Mr. Tinubu, according to him, since the applicant for the school checked the box for a male rather than a female.
When Dr. West Brown was asked about it, he responded that mixing students up is common in institutions. West Brown attended numerous colleges. Possibility exists.
Afolabi explained that certificates weren’t given out at graduation; instead, people had to apply for them. This was in response to the disparities on the certificate’s signatures.
He further stated that it’s possible that the individual who gave the certificate Tinubu submitted to INEC was not enrolled at the institution in 1979.
In response, Segun Sowunmi, a former representative for Atiku, stated that they were unsure if Tinubu attended Chicago State University.
“We have it on file that they are scurrying everywhere and are unable to be the owners of the certificate stating that he is a female. That certificate has a security number associated with a feminine name. How are we able to confirm that he attended the school?
