The actress and content producer, originally from Russia, has shared her reasons for moving to Nigeria.
The actor claimed that after falling in love with a Nigerian man, she relocated to that country.
In the most recent episode of The Time podcast, which is hosted by Victoria Gure and Folasade Abimbola, she revealed this.
“I came [to Nigeria] because of a man,” Fari stated. I had found love. 2020 saw my move to Nigeria. It’s been three years since I moved here. It is also quite lovely. It’s incredible.
She remarked, “People want something they don’t have; they appreciate something they don’t have more,” in reference to the trend of Nigerians moving outside in search of better opportunities. Everything was new to me when I came here. It was an item I don’t possess. I now have it, and I never had. It’s therefore something novel. It’s foreign.
Here, I discovered who I am. This is where I found myself. For Nigerians who are travelling abroad, the same applies. Humans are constantly in search of something they lack. That has always been the case.
