Actress Fari Elysian moved to Nigeria after falling in love with Nigerian man, leaving Russia behind

The actress and content producer, originally from Russia, has shared her reasons for moving to Nigeria.

The actor claimed that after falling in love with a Nigerian man, she relocated to that country.

In the most recent episode of The Time podcast, which is hosted by Victoria Gure and Folasade Abimbola, she revealed this.

“I came [to Nigeria] because of a man,” Fari stated. I had found love. 2020 saw my move to Nigeria. It’s been three years since I moved here. It is also quite lovely. It’s incredible.

She remarked, “People want something they don’t have; they appreciate something they don’t have more,” in reference to the trend of Nigerians moving outside in search of better opportunities. Everything was new to me when I came here. It was an item I don’t possess. I now have it, and I never had. It’s therefore something novel. It’s foreign.

Here, I discovered who I am. This is where I found myself. For Nigerians who are travelling abroad, the same applies. Humans are constantly in search of something they lack. That has always been the case.
