Actor Tony Umez of Nollywood has refuted the claim that he is deceased.
Umez declared on his Instagram page that the death reports spreading on social media have upset him, his family, and loved ones and that he plans to sue the spreaders of false information.
“I am aware of the influence social media may have on the dissemination of information. Nevertheless, it is depressing to see how it may be abused by a select few to disseminate misleading information for personal advantage. I implore you all to exercise caution and to only believe anything that has been verified by me or by my authorised channels,” he wrote in the post.
