Actor Aremu Afolayan Expresses Regret for Not Engaging in Fraud

Nigerian actor Aremu Afolayan reveals his frustrations, admitting that he regrets not getting involved in fraud, sparking reactions across social media.

Aremu Afolayan, a popular Nollywood actor, has expressed remorse for not engaging in the fraudulent activity known as ‘Yahoo Yahoo’ on Nigerian internet platforms.

This was stated by Aremu in a post on Instagram currently gaining popularity.

In this era, he stressed that running a legitimate business in Nigeria seems futile.

The actor expressed regret for not joining in the act of ‘Yahoo Yahoo’ while speaking in pidgin English.

“Out of all the days when they talk about internet fraud, today I regret not doing it. Legitimate hustling never felt so pointless #aremuafolayan.”

The actor’s social media update was shared a couple of hours following the NNPCL fuel price increase, which rose from N617 to N897 during these tough economic times in Nigeria.
