Tanko Yakasai, an elder statesman, has counselled Nigerians who are unhappy with President Bola Tinubu’s administration to start the process of making the corrections they feel are necessary in compliance with the law and our constitution.

Former presidential advisor Yakasai advised them to use the resources available for their rehabilitation rather than resorting to hate speech and acts of disloyalty.

The former lawmaker exhorted Nigerians to use lawful and patriotic methods to rectify any current issues that may have arisen in the nation.
He issued a warning, saying that using violent protests and word warfare would not benefit the nation or its people.

Over 200 million Nigerians have needs, wants, and goals, and President Tinubu is just human and cannot provide them all, Yakasai emphasised in a statement he personally signed and provided to reporters on Saturday.

“My ADVICE TO NIGERIANS,” a statement, states that the country is too complex for any one person granted the position of leader to govern to the satisfaction of its more than 200 million citizens.

This is true for all countries, no matter how big or little.

“I will counsel individuals who are dissatisfied with the current state of affairs to take the initiative to rectify any injustices they perceive within the nation, in compliance with the legal and constitutional standards.

“In order for us to gradually repair the errors throughout the nation, step by step. We can’t simultaneously bring happiness to every citizen of the nation.
