Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Daniel Amah, the commanding officer of the No. 23 Police Mobile Force (Mopol), paid a courtesy call to the Burkina Faso embassy on Tuesday.

ACP Amah underlined the commitment of the Nigerian police to maintain the security of diplomatic missions in the nation while visiting the embassy in Lagos.

“I stand before you today as a representative of the NPF’s unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety and sanctity of the diplomatic missions within Lagos State, not just as the Commanding Officer of the No. 23 Police Mobile Force, FHQ Annex, Keffi Street, Lagos,” he said.

The fact that embassies and consulates are more than just physical structures is well acknowledged. They stand for the bonds, relationships, and respect that exist between nations.

The Burkina Faso Embassy in Lagos “is a testament to the enduring relationship between Burkina Faso and Nigeria.”

The No. 23 Police Mobile Force’s major goal is to preserve this friendship’s symbol’s purity, security, and safety. We are aware of the seriousness of this assignment. We are aware that any damage or disturbance to this embassy is not only a slight against Burkina Faso but also against the entire concept of world peace and cooperation.
