The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association (MACBAN) asserts that airstrikes carried out in Nasarawa State by an unnamed authority resulted in the deaths of four herders, the slaughter of 40 cows, and numerous injuries to both herders and cows.
A woman and a child were among those killed in the airstrikes that took place between Monday and Tuesday in the Abuni community of the Awe local government and the Adudu community of the Obi local government, according to Bala Mohammed Dabo, the state chairman of MACBAN, who spoke to journalists in Lafia.
According to him, the attack happened intermittently on Monday and Tuesday.
At precisely 5:00 p.m., “I receive a distress call from my people informing me that an airstrike has occurred, and a few minutes later, “I receive the same call from Adudu informing me that a helicopter is shooting on cows and people (sic).”
We don’t have any states other than Nasarawa state, claims Bala Dabo. The state governor has offered us minimal compensation as part of his effort to stop any breakout of skirmishes.
