The Labour Party’s National Chairman, Barrister Julius Abure, is heading a delegation from the party to attend a meeting with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and other political party leaders.
This meeting serves as INEC’s regular quarterly consultative forum, where discussions on political developments and future election plans take place.
Notably, INEC had previously stated that it did not oversee the national convention that reelected Abure as the party’s national chairman.

The NLC firmly asserts that Abure’s tenure as National Chairman has expired, challenging his authority within the party.
