The UAE is set to break records this New Year’s Eve with a range of spectacular events. The Sheikh Zayed Festival in Al Wathba aims to surpass its own Guinness World Records for the longest, loudest, and most intricate firework and light display.

This includes a 40-minute firework show and a light show featuring over 3,000 drones. Additionally, there will be various activities such as performances at the Children’s Theatre and games at Fun Fair City. Meanwhile, the emirate plans to break its own record with a 12-minute fireworks show, although the specific titles they are targeting have not been revealed.

Last year, Ras Al Khaimah wowed audiences with a stunning fireworks display, earning two Guinness World Records for the most remote operated drones launching fireworks simultaneously and the highest altitude drone firework display.
