Mr. Enyinnaya Apollos, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and a former chief press secretary to Okezie Ikpeazu, the former governor of Abia State, has hinted that the opposition party will produce young leadership that would bring about the necessary changes ahead of the State and National Congress of the PDP.

In advance of the congress, the PDP zoned the chairmanship to Abia North following its State caucus meeting on June 1 in Umuahia.

Speaking to reporters in Umuahia, the state capital of Abia, Apollos asserted that no party in Abia is as deeply ingrained in the community as the PDP.

He remarked, “We respect our elders’ wisdom, but we can’t put up with any bullshit from stakeholders.”

He claimed that bad elements caused the PDP to lose the Abia State governorship in 2023, but they were unfazed by certain members leaving the party.

“Nobody’s departure from the party causes any concern for anyone. For their own personal benefit, PDP members were the ones who worked against the party’s interests.

“They thought the people they worked for would put them at ease, but their expectations were not met.” The individual that contracted you won’t accept your application if the job is to destroy your sibling.

Therefore, they worked against their own party out of envy, and when they were let down, they boldly quit the PDP.

“The new places they moved to did not accept them.” The fact that they departed the celebration is auspicious.

Apollos asserted, “We are aware of individuals who are posing as party members in order to seize positions and hold it in trust for some people.”
