The People’s Democratic Party (PDP, members of the state House of Assembly have been warned by Alex Otti not to trust them before his inauguration on May 29.

The recent crisis that rocked the Abia House of Assembly, according to the Obidient Ambassadors Forum, is a foreshadowing of what may happen in the State House of Assembly in the future.

According to a statement from the group’s President, Chiezolam Nwankwo, and Secretary, Comrade Kingsley Uko, Otti’s main problem upon taking office will be determining who will serve as Speaker of the State House of Assembly.

The statement reads, “We have informed the Labour Governor-Elect, Dr. Alex Otti, of the People’s Democratic Party’s operations to ensure that the next administration will have some difficulties and limitations in the distribution of governance beginning on May 29, 2023.

“We are aware that the Governor-Elect is not taking a nap to ensure that good governance is put in place to end the suffering of Abians, but he should recognize that there are more significant conflicts to be fought and that the biggest challenge is determining who will become the Speaker of the 8th Assembly of the Abia State House by June 2023.

There is evidence that an unnamed PDP governor from the South/South zone has gathered funds for Abia PDP for the impeachment of Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji, and the election of the new Speaker for the Abia House of Assembly by June 2023 is the final outcome. This is why the embattled Speaker gave tactical support to Dr. Alex Otti to win the Abia 2023 governorship election against PDP candidate Okey Ahiwe.

The organization claimed that enormous resources had been allocated for the selection of a chosen speaker in order to ensure that Otti would be on his toes and that the 8th Abia Assembly’s sovereignty would prevent his government’s policies and procedures from receiving accents and approvals.

“Alex Otti should step up his efforts, put an end to the jubilation over his election victory, and concentrate on the ongoing battles ahead of the outcome of who will be the Speaker of the 8th Assembly of the Abia State House of Assembly,” the statement continued.

“We are aware of the motivations behind PDP’s selection of Erondu Jnr. Erondu, Obingwa West, or Emmanuel Emeruwa, Aba South, who, despite his constant denials, is more PDP than Labour.” The sooner Otti chooses a candidate to back, the better for Abians’ future.

“Obidients groups will not fold our arms and permit Senator Olusola Saraki’s episode of NAAS 2015 to play out in Abia by June 2023; the warning signals are too obvious for the blind to see; Dr. Alex Otti beware of the PDP Jokers, Emmanuel Emeruwa and Erondu Jr. E.; and we are aware of the previous meetings in Uyo by PDP members Elect and their moles in Labour. We are also aware of the
