The Department of State Services, or DSS, has freed Mr. Abdulrasheed Bawa, the former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
Mr. Bawa spent 135 days in custody before being freed on Wednesday night.

According to Platinumpost, the nominations of Ola Olukoyede and Muhammad Hassan Hammajoda for the positions of chairman and secretary of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) were confirmed by the Senate on Wednesday, October 18.
Since then, Ola Olukoyede, the new chairman, has taken up his position.
